Key Fact Statement (KFS)

Every borrower receives a Key Fact Statement before accepting a loan, as the Reserve Bank of India requires. This page explains what it is; your own KFS is generated for your specific loan.

The Key Fact Statement is a short, standardised document that sets out the total cost of your loan in plain language, in a format prescribed by the RBI. You see it on Tap4Loan and receive it by email before you accept, so that you can compare and decide without pressure.

Your KFS shows

  • Loan amount, the amount actually disbursed to you, and the repayment date
  • Rate of interest and the Annual Percentage Rate (APR), which includes all fees and charges
  • Processing fee, GST and any other charge, itemised
  • Penal charges in case of delayed payment, and how they are applied
  • The cooling-off period and how to exit the loan within it
  • Details of the lender — Golu Leasing & Finance Co. Private Limited, RBI CoR B-14.01773 — and of the Lending Service Provider, SVR Tech Solutions Private Limited
  • Name and contact details of the Grievance Redressal Officer
  • The recovery mechanism and details of any recovery agents
  • A repayment schedule and the computation of APR

What it guarantees

No charge that is not mentioned in the KFS can be levied during the term of the loan without your explicit consent. If a figure on this website and a figure in your KFS differ, the KFS governs — it is specific to your loan.

Illustrative only

The calculator and representative example on this site show how a KFS is built, using the ranges approved under our Interest Rate Policy. They are not an offer.
